Recently, Suzhou Guoxin Tongchuang Glass Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Guoxin Tongchuang"), a company within SISPARK (Suzhou International Science Park), announced the successful development of a new type of ultraviolet-transmitting glass. This innovation can increase the ultraviolet transmittance to over 90%, providing a more advanced material choice for high-tech manufacturing fields such as photoresist curing, electronic aging tests, and liquid crystal alignment. It fills the gap of relying entirely on imports for this product, achieving domestic substitution.

The new ultraviolet-transmitting glass is widely used in various fields of the electronics and information industries, such as semiconductor manufacturing, nanotechnology, and coating technology. Its high transmittance and chemical stability make it an important material in these areas.

Test data shows that at a wavelength of 300nm, the transmittance of Guoxin Tongchuang's product can exceed 80%; at a wavelength of 320nm, the transmittance can reach over 90%, comparable to the world's most advanced similar product, PH319, with some indicators even surpassing it.

According to reports, Guoxin Tongchuang was established in May 2022 and is the only domestic enterprise that has mastered the entire production technology of ultraviolet-transmitting glass. The company's headquarters is located in the Artificial Intelligence Industrial Park, a flagship carrier under SISPARK. In November 2023, it was selected for the Suzhou Industrial Park's Science and Technology Leading Talent Growth Project. Currently, it has a research and development center in Beijing (which has already obtained national high-tech, Beijing's specialized and sophisticated "Little Giant" enterprise, and technology-based SME certifications) and a production plant in Shijiazhuang.

Guoxin Tongchuang consistently adheres to technological innovation as its core driving force, continuously increasing R&D investment to ensure that product technical parameters remain synchronized with international first-tier manufacturers, with R&D efforts closely following international standards. The company will launch at least 2-3 new technology applications each year, double its R&D funding annually, and keep its products updated every year.
